trainline.com….how much??

I read today that trainline.com (part owned by Mr Branson) is subject to a private equity take-over to a suggested amount of some £168m (a pagerank 6 website to boot).

Never heard of this site before though - I like the name.

£168m is not bad at all for a website that tells you what time a train might turn up and lets you book your tickets online (yes, yes, I know, there’s much more to it than that of course!).

I wonder if anyone manages to make any affiliate commission with trainline.com (let me know if you do) - 1% commission and a few exclusions to boot. Well it’s not one that takes my fancy anyways.
