Further to my post on lego I’ve read a letter in The Telegraph suggesting that lego is actually an English invention rather than a Danish one.
Ivor Williams from Devon writes to suggest that Minibrix, developed in 1930 by the Premo Rubber Company of Petersfield in Hampshire, is the original lego. Minibrix where made from rubber and were interlocking.
