Hi Nick

Are you Nick K?

I'm not so sure affiliates are on their way out myself. My gripe was more to do with the confusing mechanics of the quality score.

Of course, PPC isn't getting any cheaper but I think that there are still lots of opportunities. Having said that they might not all be within personal finance!

Reading between the lines and also having a weird conversation with Google, "they just dont like affiliates", one google guy said "your site has to offer the customer a different experience"

So I think they {google} are pushing up the value of generic words as people who brand bid will eventually be non existent and will have to revert to the generic terms.

Affiliates are on their way out. !!

JC,

Just had a Melobourne City coffee shop dude ask me if I was a POM and where I was from, I replied Liverpool, which meant he then went on a 15 minute rant about Liverpool FC and their brilliance, I struggled to keep up with the conversation and just added "yer he's good in the air" or randomly state "Anfield" at different points of the conversation - he seeemd impressed.

Anyhow to answer your point, I did some interesting investigation on emigrate site that led me to believe if you base your key words on the OBJECTIVE of your site you'll find better quality appears by magic.

But you must think deeply young Jedi.

Later,
R.
